Ruby Hadley: Paper Valleys

Many of us were introduced to Ruby's paper folding prowess at her origami workshop last semester, but hyperbolic parabolas are child's play for the nimble-fingered Hadley. Check out some of her ridiculously complicated looking works on her blog, Paper Valleys.

Permanent Error

Scotiabank's CONTACT photography festival is happening this weekend in Toronto. If you can't make it, their site has profiles of all their featured artists. Pieter Hugo's work in Ghana happened to catch my eye, his images are really quite compelling and tell the grim tale of the effects of obsolescence in developing countries. Check out his gallery and other works here.

Happy Easter! and Announcements!

Hello everyone! Thank you all for another great year at SID! I would just like to wish everyone a Happy Easter.

I think it's finally safe to say that everyone's exams are done, and we can put this year behind us!
I want to thank the CIDSA team for their dedication and commitment, especially Carmen Liu, Jason Ham, Foong Ling Chen, Lena Sitnikova, Linette Brown, Jennifer Bin, Justine SDC, Minh Dao, and Phil So.
